As we move into November 2024, it won’t be long before we will be sitting down to a Christmas roast and then setting some New Year resolutions for 2025.
As a Victorian property investor, it has been an extremely hard year for many of us to hold onto our investment properties. If you have been able to survive that past year with all of the changes to minimum standards, safety checks, high interest rates and land tax, I’m confident 2025 will be better for us all. I don’t have a crystal ball, however I’m personally feeling more positive about the 2025 year ahead.
Our region is still showing positive signs in the investment space. We continue to have increased demand for rental properties. With little supply and high demand, our vacancy rates are continuing to be at an all-time low and we have quality renters looking for rental properties across our region.
On a daily basis I receive calls and emails from investors asking where they should buy their next investment property. All areas of Geelong have a high demand for renters. Depending on your budget, capital growth expectations and your own property requirements, there is rental demand in all areas of our region, suiting all types of investors.
