Alastair Craig

Alastair Craig is the Co-Founder, Director and Auctioneer of Jellis Craig. He began his real estate career in 1980, by 1988 he had been a Partner of two inner eastern estate agencies. In 1991, he established Jellis Craig with Richard Jellis, now with 28 offices Victoria wide.

Alastair is a consummate auctioneer and negotiator. Together with Richard Jellis, he has been responsible for creating an innovative and prestigious vision for marketing and transacting the very best properties in all price categories. Alastair’s rapid rise to senior management positions and his Directorship of Jellis Craig attest to his pro-active approach to business and client services.

Born in Boroondara and having resided in Camberwell and Canterbury for most of his life, Alastair’s dedication to the local area is unwavering. Educated at Carey Grammar, he then went on to complete a Business Certificate and a Marketing Diploma at RMIT. Alastair has also maintained strong ties with Carey, enthusiastically supporting their educational and community activities.

Outside of real estate and spending time with his children, Alastair’s favourite energetic activities and sports include surfing, heli-skiing and boarding, boxing, motorcycle and car racing, playing with radio-controlled models and last but not least, wine appreciation.

Alastair enjoys working closely with his clients and in most cases today, purely works on referred business.
